| CANCELLATION WAIVER POLICY CANCELLATION OF HOTELS / CAR HIRE (restrictions may apply) Cancellation Waiver ensures a full refund (less the policy premium) should the client cancel their booking due to being unable to board their flight as a result of load restrictions. (This must be paid for at the time of booking and cannot be added after payment has been taken). Once the holiday has commenced the Cancellation Waiver Policy no longer applies. Please note that certain products, including Cruises, cannot be covered under the Waiver policy. When clients travelling on "standby" are "off loaded", it is the client's responsibility to either contact TIS, if this occurs during office hours, or the hotel directly should the TIS office be closed. The reservation must be cancelled with the supplier immediately. The client should request a written cancellation acknowledgement from the supplier.
